Annual "Macy's iHeartƹϴý Rising Star" Talent Search Returns
New York, N.Y. – March 14, 2017 – ƹϴýannounced today the return of the annual star-studded iHeartƹϴý Music Festival on September 22 and 23 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and its Daytime Village presented by Capital One, which will return to the Las Vegas Village across from the Luxor Hotel and Casino on Saturday, September 23. The Daytime Village presented by Capital One will feature live performances by both popular and emerging artists, including first revealed artists Flume, French Montana, Noah Cyrus, Judah & The Lion, Kelsea Ballerini, Hey Violet and All Time Low, with more to be announced. The main stage performance line-up for the 2017 iHeartƹϴý Music Festival will be announced at a later date.
In addition to live performances, the Daytime Village presented by Capital One will also feature fan zones including an exclusive Capital One cardholder viewing area and interactive experiences by iHeartƹϴý's brand partners. The "Macy's iHeartƹϴý Rising Star" talent search will also return for the sixth year in a row providing emerging artists the chance to perform on the same stage as music's biggest superstars at the 2017 iHeartƹϴý Music Festival. Starting in early May, iHeartƹϴý listeners and Macy's shoppers will once again have their chance to cast their votes for their favorite up-and-coming artists, and by voting, fans will also be entered for a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas for the 2017 iHeartƹϴý Music Festival.
The winner of the "Macy's iHeartƹϴý Rising Star" will take the stage as the opening act of the epic two-night event. Since the launch of the first iHeartƹϴý Music Festival in 2011 the star-studded line ups have featured live performances by superstars including U2, Sting, Drake, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, The Weeknd, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Elton John, Lady Gaga, Jay Z, Ed Sheeran, Miley Cyrus, Zac Brown Band, twenty one pilots and more.
